Dirty Sanchez star Matthew Pritchard has been discharged from hospital after being stabbed in the neck in a shop in Norwich.

The 36-year-old, from Cardiff, intervened in a row between a man and shop staff when his assailant drew a knife and stabbed him just under the chin.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital where he was later discharged. Local police officers later arrested a man in connection with the incident.

Writing on his Twitter page, Pritchard, one of the stars of MTV’s Dirty Sanchez – Wales’ answer to Jackass -, said: "Just to let you all know I’m fine after being stabbed in Norwich. The bloke who did it has been caught."

He added: "I was stabbed in the neck… trying to protect a shop full of women and children for [sic] his terrible behaviour."
